The Centre Students’ General Assembly met in Helsinki on 31 October–1 November 2026, with 40 participants gathering to decide on the union’s future. A new strategy for 2027–2029 was adopted. Elections were held for the Chair, Vice-Chairs and members of the Board, with an excellent field of candidates.
The General Assembly elected Josefina Tuomala (Turku Centre Students) as Chair of the Board for 2027. Anton Sahinaho (Turku Centre Students) and Vili Liukkonen (Rajattomat Centre Students) were elected Vice-Chairs.
Ruusu Markus (Oulu Centre Students), Erich Menlös (Joensuu Centre Students), Valtteri Hiltunen (Jyväskylä Centre Students), Hannu Kallio (Turku Centre Students) and Enni Granqvist (Helsinki Centre Students) were elected members of the Board.
The new Board will begin its work on 1 January 2027.
